Let the games begin

Now that the Olympics are over, the real games are about to begin: the presidential election, and it’s going to get ugly. I’ve read a lot of stuff, and stayed quiet, but I’ve decided to start posting my thoughts about it. So expect to see some politically charged entries over the next few months. You can agree or disagree, I’m ok with either.

Madonna kicked off a world tour and during her show she shows a video that compares John McCain to Adolf Hitler, and Barack Obama to John Lennon.

First of all, if anyone out there thinks that this woman is the voice of political reason, you’re an idiot.

Madonna has spent her career devaluing women and putting on disgusting displays of sex in her live shows. That is what she is about.

To compare anyone to Adolf Hitler is offensive, but to compare Hitler to someone she doesn’t even know just to promote her candidate, goes beyond reprehensible.

But, all you have to do is look at her picture to see what kind of person she is. Yuck.

I don’t care who you want to vote for, it’s your choice. But people who use their celebrity to poison other people’s minds using imaginary comparisons, rather than facts about what each candidate stands for shows how desperate they are.
